Sustainable Practices in International Chain Hotels in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Purpose of the study The aims were to analyze sustainable practices adopted by international chain hotel brands in Muscat; and find out extent affecting guest satisfaction hotels Muscat determine barriers challenges faced Muscat. Design/Methodology/Approach Forty questionnaires distributed two hotels’ employees different job positions. In-depth interviews also used gather qualitative information from human resources departments corporate social responsibility specialists discuss current trends collected data was then analyzed using SPSS Qualitative tools. Findings reveals that sustainability initiatives had an effective impact on cost savings helps reduce waste, resource wastage. It found guests are willing pay more at support their green satisfied with innovation towards undertaken felt stay a memorable one. Research Implications observed there is strong relationship between so maintain raise up expectations. Some not aware creation awareness must. Practical Awareness within staff community can be raised only through proper education training.
